Blue Goat Cyber, LLC (“Blue Goat”) is committed to protecting the confidentiality of any information that you or your organization submit via our website. Any such information will be used solely for assessing your needs and how we might assist you or your organization.

We will store all such information in a secure environment, and access to the information will be restricted solely to Blue Goat employees or agents with a need to know. We will not sell, rent, or share you or your organization's information.

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember your preferences, measure traffic, and improve performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect site functionality.

We collect information you provide directly (for example when you submit a contact or discovery form), and limited technical information collected automatically (such as IP address, browser type, referring page, and pages viewed).

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

When you apply for a role through our careers pages, we collect the details you enter in the application form: your name, email address, phone number if you provide one, links you share, your written answers to the role questions, any video link you add, your responses to the editing or scenario exercises, and the resume file you upload.

Resume files are uploaded straight into a private storage area that is not reachable from the public internet. Only Blue Goat staff involved in hiring can open them, through short-lived links that expire. Application details are stored in our own database and are not published anywhere on the site.

We use this information only to evaluate your application, contact you about it, and keep a record of our hiring decisions. We do not sell it, share it with advertisers, or use it to build marketing lists. If we ask to speak with references, we contact only the people you name.

We keep applications while the role is open and for a reasonable period afterwards in case a similar role opens up. You can ask us to delete your application and resume at any time by emailing careers@bluegoatcyber.com, and we will remove them.

Our podcast pages are built from the show's public RSS feed, which carries episode titles, descriptions, artwork, and audio links. That feed contains no information about you, and reading a podcast page does not tell us who you are beyond the usual anonymous traffic measurement described above.

If you listen or subscribe through Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube, or another app, that app collects listening data under its own privacy policy, not ours. We only see the aggregate download and play counts our hosting provider reports.

If you pitch yourself or someone else as a podcast guest through a form on this site, we store the name, contact details, and pitch text you submit, and we use them only to consider and respond to the pitch.

This site does not have blog comments, forums, or public posting of any kind, so we collect no comment data. If we add a feature like that in future, we will update this policy before turning it on.

If you subscribe to our newsletter or alerts, we store your email address and your subscription preferences so we can send what you asked for. Every message includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops the emails immediately.

We use submitted information to respond to your inquiry, schedule meetings, deliver services, and improve our website. We may use aggregated, de-identified analytics to understand how the site is used.

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share information only with service providers acting on our behalf (for example email, scheduling, and analytics tools), and where required by law.

We retain inquiry data for as long as needed to support the engagement or for legitimate business and legal reasons. We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information; no system is perfectly secure.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information you've provided by emailing info@bluegoatcyber.com. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe link in any message.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on this page.
